- Things to watch out for on a daily check
-
(1) Check the appearance and interior of the unit. If there is any foreign matter or filth, please remove it and clean it up.
(2) Whether water, fuel, oil and battery fluid are sufficient.
(3) Whether the fan belt is too loose or too tight, adjust it if necessary.
(4) Check the fan status to check for looseness or damage.
(5) Check whether the terminals of the load outlet board are in good condition, and replace them if necessary.
(6) Check whether the battery wiring is locked and damaged.
(7) After starting, check whether there is abnormal sound, and observe whether the battery charging voltage and load terminal voltage are within the normal setting range.
(8) Record the inspected and measured data in the daily checklist for reference in future maintenance and repairs. - How to maintain the battery?
-
(1) The service life of the battery is about 2 years under normal use and maintenance conditions.
(2) Please start the engine on a regular basis (7~15 days), and run the engine for 5~10 minutes, so as to ensure the normal function of the battery.
(3) Check the battery water level at least every 15 days, and keep it between the upper limit and the lower limit. When the water level is insufficient, please add distilled water or boiled water to the upper limit (except for water-free batteries).
(4) When the battery is not in use, it should be recharged 1~2 times a month to prevent the battery from being damaged if it is placed for too long.
(5) To avoid high concentration of gas retention during charging and use, please choose a well-ventilated place.
(6) When inspecting the battery, it is strictly forbidden to approach fire (cigarettes, lighters, electrical sparks), etc., and the positive and negative electrodes of the battery must not be short-circuited to prevent explosion.
(7) The battery unit should be completely fixed, it should not be loosened, and the terminal head and the battery casing should not be hit hard.
(8) △! When replacing the alternator battery, you must first disconnect the negative (-) terminal connecting the machine to the battery and then disconnect the positive (+) terminal; when installing the battery, you must first connect the positive (+) terminal of the battery to the machine terminal, and then connect the negative (-) terminal of the battery to avoid the positive and negative short circuit and sparks of the battery caused by accidental contact of the tool. - Precautions for long-term storage
-
(1) It must be stored in a clean and dry environment. Never store the generator in a wet or dirty place.
(2) Drain the oil, add new oil, and run the generator for another five minutes.
(3) Wipe and lubricate the movable parts of the machine table with a clean cloth and oil.
(4) Drain the cooling water and fuel.
(5) The alternator battery is removed.
(6) Clean the inside and outside of the machine.
(7) Partially seal the generator opening to ensure that no moisture enters the inside of the unit.
(8) Place the sealed generator in a clean and dry place.
(9) The alternator battery must be charged 1~2 times a month.
(10) Schedule an on-load test every year
It is recommended to schedule an on-load test for a power outage every year, that is, to simulate a power outage at the Taipower terminal, let the generator and ATS automatic switch automatically start, and complete the on-load test of a simulated power outage. This test must be accompanied by a professional generator maintenance manufacturer to avoid the test. In the event of an emergency, emergency treatment cannot be done.WARNING: Start the machine only when it is safe to do so; do not attempt to start the machine when you know it is unsafe.
- Regular inspection and maintenance matters needing attention and supplementary instructions
-
(1) Before performing maintenance and inspection, be sure to unplug the negative terminal of the battery to avoid sparks caused by the maintenance and inspection tools touching the machine.
(2) If the unit has been operated before maintenance and inspection, special attention must be paid to the hot pipe fittings to avoid scalding. If you need to open the water tank cover to check the cooling water, you must wait for the unit to cool before performing maintenance and inspection.
(3) The waste and waste liquid generated after maintenance must be disposed of in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, and must not be discarded and discharged arbitrarily.
(4) When the generator is running, if the load voltage is provided, please do not touch the load wiring board to avoid electric shock.
(5) When the generator is running, avoid touching the inner circuit of the control panel to avoid electric shock.
(6) For generators running or just running, the cooling water of the water tank is in a high temperature state. It is strictly forbidden to open the cover of the water tank to avoid being scalded by the high temperature water vapor.
(7) If you want to observe the parameters of the generator after starting, you can slide the touch screen to select the item you want to observe
(8) The standby generator should be started at least once every 15 days to ensure the normal performance of the generator, and run for at least 5~10 minutes each time.
(9) After the generator is started, run the generator with no load for 5 minutes, and then put it into use with the load. When shutting down, let the generator run without load for 5 minutes before shutting down to extend the warranty period of the engine
(10) Cleaning and replacement of the air filter - every 250 hours of use, the air filter should be removed to compress the air (pressure below 7㎏/cm2) to clean the dust of the filter core, or a new one must be replaced after one year ( whichever comes first), while in dusty areas, the maintenance time must be shortened
(11) Replacement of engine water tank water - every 500 hours of operation or less than 500 hours but a year has passed, the water in the water tank must be replaced, and the water in the water tank must be drained from the cooling water drain plug at the bottom of the water tank. When the old water is completely drained, please Tighten the plug, then add pure tap water to the full water level of the water tank, and then lock the water tank cover to position.
